Silly girl...

Marysa is so silly. She still does her pilates in an attempt to crawl. She's actually doing a lot better. We think she will be crawling in to time. Also when she gets out of the tub she likes to sit in the sink and look at herself in the mirror and play. She's such a ham!

Mommy doesn't do much better...

Well...I've posted what Marysa looks like after her granddaddy feeds her and her daddy, but this one is after mommy fed her...mommy didn't do much better!

A whole new world...

I set up Marysa's little pool today, grabbed toys from her bath tub, a towel, put our swimsuits on and sunscreen and we headed outside. I thought what better way to spend the day with your 7 month old than outside splashing in the cool water on a hot day. Marysa had other plans...she wanted to get out and play in the grass. Oh well...she had fun!

Country child...

I couldn't resist...what's more country than your baby wearing a Bass Pro Shop T-shirt and camoflauge and pink hat that says "little dear" on it with a deer? Yep! Nothing is... And you know who you can give the credit to for this outfit. Yep! Her daddy! And no we didn't turn her hat sideways...that was all Marysa's doing.

Play date turned Mommy's day out!

Rebekah and I planned for me and Marysa to come over for a "playdate" (yes we know the girls are too small to really play and it was just so we could hang out), but anyway...Brenda ended up coming with me and she kept all four kids and me and Rebekah went to lunch. We had such a good time talking and getting to know one another better. I'm so blessed and thankful to have friends like Rebekah. I look foward to us getting to know one another better and hanging out a whole lot more. We are so much alike. And...to top it all off...Marysa LOVED Brody and Ben. Of course she loved Marley too, but Marley slept the whole time. Brenda said Marysa just laughed and laughed at the boys. Marysa was just itching to get back on the floor with the boys and play some more when we got back. Anyway, we had a really nice lunch at Lu Vici's and thank you Brenda for giving us a Mommy day out!

Congratulations Josh...

This past weekend I had a congratulations party for Josh for making K-9. We had a lot of fun eating hotDOGS (get it...for making K-9), chips, baked beans, cole slaw, and cake. The girls had fun too playing with one another on the floor. All three really liked playing with the cats toys and the cat liked playing with their toys. I think I'll start getting cat toys for birthday presents (ha ha). We had so much fun with our friends. We also learned that Marysa loves the camera. I would get ready to take her picture and she would just grin and smile. She loved it! We got so tickled at her that we just took her picture over and over again to watch her "cheese" for the camera. I made her a shirt for this special occasion too...it says "my dad is a cop and his dog is too so don't even think about it".

Revelation 10:10

Then I took the little book out of the angel's hand and ate it, and it was as sweet as honey in my mouth. But when I had eaten it, my stomach became bitter.

Morning routine...

Every morning when Josh gets home him and Marysa get in our bed and watch T.V. Her favorite is Bunny Town and Little Einsteins. So sweet...
