Look Alike...

This is the April 2009 issue of BabyTalk and someone pointed this out to me. Does the little girl look like Marysa or what!?

How to have fun on a cold day...

Take your husbands boot box, your dogs leash, and your daughter and pull her around the house. She LOVED it!

3 months vs. 1 year!

I wanted to post these two pictures just to show how fast our little ones grow and how much they change from 3 months to 1 year.

One Year pictures...just a little late!

These are Marysa's one year pictures...I'm just a little late posting them. We decided to have family pictures made since we haven't had them taken since Marysa was 3 months old. We think they turned out great...of course why wouldn't they when Mrs. Nancy took them, and thank you to her wonderful daughter Laura for helping.

I WON!

I registered to win my work an office pizza party, and Dan called me this morning and told me I WON! Dan and Dingo are bringing Domino's Pizza to my work tomorrow for us! It feels so good to win something!

An Early Happy Valentine's Day!

Yesterday I got to stay home with Marysa...we had a WONDERFUL DAY! The weather was better than perfect so we spent most of the day outside. Since she had on her Valentine's Day shirt that Grandmommy bought her I thought I'd snap a few pictures. I managed to get a few pictures before my camera died, but I'll just post a couple. Isn't she sweet? I just have to say until I had children I could not grasp like I can now the love God has for us...His children. And to add to that I never knew you could love someone the way a parent loves their child. The way we love Marysa. I'll get off my soapbox now and just say Happy Valentine's Day!

Busted!

Marysa was being awfully quiet as I stepped into the kitchen for a split second. I came back in my room to find this. I couldn't help but laugh. Needless to say when I asked her what she was doing she handed me a wad of tissues and put her hands up like "I don't know".

Party time...

Marysa celebrated her first birthday with a party on Saturday. What a turn out...we had a great time, great food, and great cake! I had so many pictures that I didn't know what to post, so I just picked a few.

Happy 1st Birthday Marysa!

A year ago today our sweet Marysa was born. What a blessing she is to us! Time truely flies. You have to treasure and enjoy each moment with them, and we have with her. Looking at these pictures I can't believe how much she has changed and grown. What a special day this is! We love you Marysa Mae!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Wow...I just realized it's almost been a month since I've blogged. The holidays sure keep you busy. We had a great Christmas spending time with family and we really enjoyed watching Marysa experience her first Christmas. And now it's 2009! We hope you all have a great New Year! Next on our agenda is Marysa's 1st Birthday, which is January 7th. I can't believe she is almost a year old. Anyway...here are a few pictures of her first Christmas!

More pictures of our trip to Illinois!

...and I just realized we got NO pictures of Marysa with Uncle Bub or Aunt Chris! SORRY!

Where we've been...

TO ILLINOIS! Me, Brenda, and Marysa went to Illinios to visit GiGi and Poppy. For those of you who don't know who that is-it's Josh's grandparents, Brenda's parents, and Marysa's great-grandparents. We stayed a week and Marysa did great the whole time...even on the 5 hour drive there and back. We had a wonderful visit with the family. Marysa loved everyone and everyone loved her. GiGi even taught me how to bake homemade cinammon rolls and a homemade apple pie. Marysa had lots of fun riding on the tractor with Poppy and riding on Uncle Joe's bike. We spent lots of time relaxing and just spending time together. The day we left we even got a little snow. Brrrrrr....... While we were there we also got to visit with Aunt Chris, Uncle Bub, Dawn, Brian and their kids, Cody, Misty, and Kyle. Of course, Marysa loved them too! We look foward to our next visit... I'm going to add another post above this one with just pictures because I couldn't fit all I wanted to in just this blog.

Family tradition...

My mom is starting a new tradition with Marysa. Every Thanksgiving they are going to make a gingerbread house. This is the making and results of the first one. I think it turned out great to be our first one. We had a little downfalls, but all in all it was a lot of fun. Marysa loved playing with the box more than anything...go figure!

Yes...we are still here!

I realized today that it has been forever since I've blogged. I haven't even posted Marysa's beautiful 9 months pictures (Thanks Nancy), and Marysa is almost 10 months old. So I've posted a few pictures of her 9 months pictures and Halloween. She was a tiger, as you can see. We were afraid people would think she was an Auburn tiger (and they did), but we quickly corrected them and told them she was an Alabama fan! As you can see from the picture with her daddy. We had a great Halloween! To top all that off...Marysa took her first step today. I MISSED IT! On my birthday and I missed it! I couldn't believe it. I ran to Wal-Mart and Josh called and told me. Hopefully she'll do it again soon! OH! And I forgot to mention. Marysa recieved her first KISS last night. The little boy pictured with her came right up to her and smacked her right on the lips. It was so cute. But OH I'm not ready for all that just yet. She didn't mind one bit that he did it. It was so cute! The other picture is of me, Marysa, and my friend Rebecca and her baby Marley. She is a carrot and Marley is a pea...peas and carrots. How cute! I dressed up as a K-9 office, otherwise known as Josh. We had a great time!

A day at the PUMPKIN' PATCH!

We actually went to the Pumpkin' Patch on Saturday, but I'm just now getting around to posting the pictures. Of course this is not all the pictures we took. We had a really good time. Marysa loved sitting in all the pumpkins and the hay ride. I definately reccommend going to Lyon's Family Farm in Taft, TN.
